About
Polish kid who got into med school, quit before the first class, did a business degree instead, and somehow landed on machine learning — while making house and techno records the whole way through.
Currently at Columbia finishing an MSDS, getting properly nerdy about deep learning, and co-authoring papers on whether birdwatching is a valid psychiatric intervention. Turns out it is.
The ML work and the music work are the same work, most days. I just don't tell people that at parties.

Advances in Psychiatry and Neurology, 35(2)Evaluated the first year of Poland's shift from hospital-based to community-based psychiatric care in Malbork and Sztum counties, comparing 2023 vs 2024 administrative records. First-time patients rose 49.8% and psychotherapy sessions 230.5% — evidence the decentralized model expands access where it gets rolled out.

Personalized Psychiatry, 4: e52–e70Ran structured birdwatching sessions with schizophrenia long-term-care patients and psychiatric day-clinic patients (N=29), measuring mood before and after. Statistically significant improvements in general well-being (p=0.002) and energy (p=0.009) in both settings — anxiety and loneliness dropped hardest in the schizophrenia group.
